i post it here since the complains section has no guest posting. move the post if u want para. anyway. since 3 days ago on november 16 i addressed her strange rail game which alot of players has noticed including toxic. if u address it u may get ignored by her after she rage at the problem. or u may get temp banned. over a week ago she banned a player temporary for saying NICE CHEAT. it doesnt even fall under rule one: BE NICE. technically u are still NICE if u say NICE cheat. its not even a rude comment. what i dont understand is why she takes admin actions at someone for pointing out her ability to never miss a single shot. and it becomes even more suspicious when she rage at it and takes it as an insult instead of taking it as a joke. if someone accused me of cheating. then i would just laugh at them. usually i dont accuse players of cheating. unless its skin hax aka brightskins lol. but lisa is a different case. it doesnt matter how u move. u will get hit anyway. note that i am technically not accusing her but SUSPECT her. as the quote goes: innocent until proven guilty. oh well. what i would like her to understand is that alot of players gets worried when someone aims or hits a little too good to be human or natural. they accuse for a REASON and that REASON is NOT bannable to point out. it do not go under rule one. it should also be said that i have not been banned by her but talking about ban reasons in general

since u also bring up skin hax here. u will get a full explanation to why they are cheating in my eyes. ok. since skinhax (brightskins) is a form of visual cheats. usually the modified skins are very bright so they can be seen easier for the user of them. which means less reaction time and no blending in of a player model with a texture behind. many of the brownish or greyish stock models and skins that comes with the game may blend in with a texture behind the player making them harder to see and works like a semi camoflage. any user of brightskins gives them a huge advantage and better reaction time as they can see u earlier than u can see them if u dont use brightskins and their model blend into a texture behind which requires u to focus a little more to make sure its an actual player u see.

in my opinion brightskins are cheating. 1: they give a huge advantage to the one using them 2: they dont come with the game out of the box 3: they can be seen much much easier from ranges as they see green or white "dots" on space maps if their range is big enough 4: some players of brightskins also have the ability to use pixel aimbot

an example: a map like q3dm9 gives huge brightskin cheating advantage. if u play against a user using the visor skin and the user of the visor skin has brightskins (green) and sees the whole u as a green color. naturally if u play without a modified quake the visor (brownish) skin will melt into the red browning textures behind him making him harder to see while u appear he can see u perfectly clear. he will most likely win the battle as ur focus are not directly into shooting him but trying to SEE him so u can land a shot on the player. and not the wall behind him

any players of brightskins are not honest players. they cheat to win. and unfortunately brightskins are "accepted" cheating. however it doesnt make it less lame. in my opinion i would never clap my hands for a winner of brightskins. they cheated to get that win. just as they could have used aimbot or wallhack or autofire etc. anything not out of the box of quake modifications is most likely cheating if they are giving an unfair advantage which brightskins do (easier to see + no blending of the model into a texture behind it + faster reaction times) etc etc

Didn't read everything, that was writen in this topic but You and Ziper hate each other lol. Can You tell me on what servers lisa plays rail and under what nickname. Because I never seen her ">o-o<" nickname from all weapons. I remember, You told me a few months ago, that You heard Lisa gets 100 acc on idiots with rail. All i can say is that if she gets there over 80 acc on players (bots are a different story) then it sure is very suspicious. What about her mouse movement? Does she have mouse movement problems and does she take some time to aim, or are her shots instant? And did You see her shooting dead bodies with rail? That Holland says someone cheats doesn't mean anything. The guy plays many years this game and he called me (and not only me) countless times cheater on many diffrent servers. He stopped it just recently, after he found out I'm a ref. I also don't understand this "bright skin hax" thing. If You think that using cg_enemyColors command, that comes along with noghst, is cheating, then You should ban me, Ziper, Toxic, Para and every player that plays on noghost mod. Using noghost mod (and all commands that come with it) is 100 pro legal and always has been. In fact it was invented also to reduce the number of cheaters. I can even remember servers, where you couldn't play without noghost. Most client mods have enemy color commands on both 1.16 and 1.32. And You wont find a player that was good in this game and didn't use any mods.

i can say that boones since this topic was brought up. she was alerted about it. she no longer hits those magic rails that she always hit for months without missing nearly a single shot (its a bit fishy). and i have tried a countless time to get demos from her recent play. but they look legit. but only since few days ago after this thread was created. it should be said i have specced her BEFORE too but without taking demos and she had the strange ability to hit pretty much near all rails. and i even had two demos from april of her q3dm7 play i recorded to do a frag movie with but deleted by accident this summer. and she missed 1 or 2 rails totally. out of 30 or 40 or something shots. which would have been a good evidence those two demos alone. and i even tried to recover those deleted demos with file recovery programs. but they seems to be lost without any chance to get back. my attempt to get new demos of this has failed. since a week ago when she was accused and when this thread was started. then she has stepped on her toes to avoid getting caught on tape. and since the unwritten policy says "demos before ban". this is what i have tried to do to get evidence but came out empty handed

i (and tox and few players) have suspected her since march when her rail suddenly raised mysteriously but my first thought was that it could have been possible she just railed that good. and we have played team play alot the last few months. and so i wasnt really a "victim" of her rails and didnt pay any more attention to it until recently again when she "teamkilled" me on q3dm7 and i called her out on it again and she began with excuses

since this thread was made. she have had a change in her play style. and she suddenly cant rail at all anymore. tox can witness this. since we both play and talk about it. and she avoids using that weapon as much as possible now. it should be said it was her favourite weapon to use. whenever a rail map is loaded now she just runs around with rockets or gauntlet or whatever or just joins spec. and if she has railgun she misses easy shots which was NOT the case BEFORE this thread was made. very odd

and i said about the brightskins WHY they are an unfair advantage to players NOT using it. in the bottom of page one. they are visual cheats. ofc u will never hear it from a player actually USING them. and as i said as well: "and unfortunately brightskins are accepted cheating". if u dont understand WHY thats my point of view. think of the reason why YOU are using them. YES thats correct. YOU want to SEE players better. as many of the stock ones are too dark. and its paras server so no one can get banned for the usage of them. as he accepts them on his servers. and keep that in mind that noghost or nemesis clients is no anticheat. neither is pure mode. they do keep out alot of the trash. but there is no way they would protect from any form of more advanced hacking like memory editing or packet editing to make a client lie to the server and tell it u are pure

i only brought up the skinhax topic to share my point of view of it and why i consider its cheating or at least an unfair advantage to players not using it. nothing else. carry on. lets just stay on topic instead

i also need to correct ur memory one time here boones. as i forgot that in my last post. the person i mentioned months ago from idiots with rail with such accuracy is "kortho" aka "noskill". but i also talked to u in may before i was admin that u should spec lisa on all weapons ffa server as i suspected for a while something was wrong with her inhuman railing

Understand. I didn't play much since about may, so I can't argue with You about that. Before that, I never suspected her of cheating. She didn't have good scores and her acc was low. I also didn't see anything abnormal in her mouse movment and rail shooting although I didn't spec her much.

Still don't understand Your point about it. If you set \cg_forceModel 1 (which is a basic q3a command) and play with default Bones model, then you will see players just as good as you would with the cg_enemyColors noghost command. Also using Your logic, playing on Point Release 1.16 is cheating on players that play on 1.11, because it fixes bugs and stuff like that. When I downloaded and installed 1.16 PR my average acc was up 2-3 percent. So downloading and installing 1.16 PR is cheating to? I also never said noghost cleans all cheaters, I only said it reduces the number of them. And of course I know there are cheaters that play on noghost.
