Duel / allweapon

Hi all

No one is playing on a server Instagib Fastrail Scrim and greatest popularity has a server All Weapons FFA. Very often there are too many people to play smaller maps, a lot of people give up the game because he does not like the mass slaughter.

I played always only rail but the lack of players more and more often I play allweapon and I'm starting to like it, but missing the game 1v1.

I think there will be players who delight in this type of game, who know the technique of the game and control over the map ... and there will be new players who miss the game 1v1.

It is possible to convert the server Instagib Fastrail Scrim or add new to All Weapons 1v1 and may be variable command q_weaponswitchtime 1.

i was thinking the exact same thing yesterday. u read my mind gogman? lately i been playing alot of duel with drummer and olo. and u para talked about replacing the fastrail server before. then why not a duel server then? they did create an all weapon duel server at idiots community. but personally i am not a fan at all of playing on a server owned by a cheater. like tampax. especially not with members from that clan playing as well. they would most likely never get the ban hammer for using their tools there

Razor write that you play with your friends 1v1, you can specify the server ip. I use the program GameRanger to play 1v1.
It just shows that we need a server 1v1 all weapon

Custom maps to vote on, but the default map a default dm map.
Hows that? What about timelimit/fraglimit?

i used to run server temporary with settings like fraglimit 10 and timelimit 10 and ppl liked it and thats how danger fixed the new idiots server with same settings as well. and instead of removing the bfg and bfg ammo then maybe replace it with lightning gun and lightning gun ammo? just a suggestion as it worked quite well on ctf. and demon duel are still up. what custom maps would be on this new server btw? would u make it like on para tricks where ppl can download maps to server with a scripted command?

I was thinking more like adding the clanbase mappack to it.

I once read about an intelligent bot, playing with him bot learns. Is there somewhere to download - someone knows something? I need to practice 1v1.

There are no custom maps (yet). But voting is enabled.

I leave the g_weaponswitchtime on the default 200 though. I believe most people would be annoyed with fastswitch.

/edit: physics game is the standard? I would definitely jump further than usual.

The physics are normal. I just edited the ffa server cfg to a 1v1 cfg. I didn't change anything weird.

strange because at dm6 I have no problem with a jump for rail from the bridge

Maybe you got better at strafe jumping?

I checked, on single player I have bigger problems whit jump for Rail.
You can check yourself ... strange

Maybe you have different pmove settings.
